Don&#8217;t worry, it will happen automatically, if you TALK to them. My husband and I have different native languages. Our kids are 3 and 1  year now and we are raising them bilingual. We have never read any books or got some special advice on how to raise a bilingual child. We just do what we feel is the right thing to do: We are speaking to our children in our own native language. And the result is truly amazing. Our 3 year old little girl can switch between both languages like a master. She may not have the same fluent speech like other same aged kids who are monolingual (they speak 1 language), but she will catch up with them shortly and then she can speak 2 languages fluently, how cool is that?
