Apple and Prune Puree

What you need:

  • 5 large apples (1 kg)
  • 1 cup pitted prunes (250 ml / 375 gr)
  • 1/2 cup apple juice (125 ml)

How to prepare:

  1. Cut apples in 4 and remove core and stalk.
  2. Put all ingredients in a big enough pan and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes or until apples are tender. (I covered the pan while simmering)
  3. Puree with food processor or hand held mixer.
  4. Keep in refrigerator.
