Apple and Prune Puree
What you need:
- 5 large apples (1 kg)
- 1 cup pitted prunes (250 ml / 375 gr)
- 1/2 cup apple juice (125 ml)
How to prepare:
- Cut apples in 4 and remove core and stalk.
- Put all ingredients in a big enough pan and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes or until apples are tender. (I covered the pan while simmering)
- Puree with food processor or hand held mixer.
- Keep in refrigerator.
