Tuna Mornay

What you need:

  • 15g butter
  • 2 teaspoons of plain flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 185g canned tuna (drained)

How to prepare:

  1. Melt butter in a small pan.
  2. Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, over low heat for 1 minute.
  3. Gradually add the milk, stirring the mixture until smooth between each addition.
  4. When all the milk has been added, keep stirring until the mixture has boiled and thickened.
  5. Cook for 1 minute longer.
  6. Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese until melted.
  7. Drain the tuna and flake with a fork.
  8. Stir into the sauce and serve warm.
